Oh Maryellen! I really loved what you did with Connor here. That shift from fear into curiosity feels so natural, which somehow makes it even more unsettling. Like… he should be terrified, and instead he’s leaning in, trying to understand it. The rescue scene especially got me -- felt like the moment that should’ve secured his place, and instead it just makes everything more complicated. I’m really into that tension between control and surrender you’ve got running through this.
